Programme Introduction

A psychology program involves the investigation of human behavior, probing deeper into how people think, learn, and develop emotionally and socially. Psychology experts use a wide range of methods to conduct research on large groups, specific populations, and individuals. Psychology involves controlling lab experiments, assessing clients on-site, or evaluating school tests for learning disabilities. It also delves into topics such as providing the right treatment for people suffering from trauma, mental disorders, or substance abuse. They may work with individual clients to understand root causes and offer treatment.

With a Diploma in Psychology, a person can enter the social welfare services industry. Government-operated and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) often engage psychology diploma holders as psychology assistants, rehabilitation services officer, human resources administrator, guidance counselor, research assistants, social work assistants, and public relations officer.
